GENERAL
INFORMATION
- All canoeing in N.J. Pinelands is flatwater
- Average canoeing is about 1 ½ miles per hour, depending upon
river conditions.
- Land along river is both state and private- please respect
both.
- Camping permits for overnight trips must be shown at time of
registration.
- Dont take anything of value with you.
- PETS are welcome on day trips, bring a leash. Pets are not
permitted in any campsites.
- Review a map of the river.
- Planning a trip needs assistance. Our staff will gladly help.

- Alcoholic beverages are NEVER permitted on the rivers nor at the campsites. Rangers do patrol, and violators can be fined and arrested.
*****Participation in canoeing/kayaking and other related activities involves inherent risks. Participants must accept responsibility for these risks and agree to sign a release waiver prior to participation. Any person under the age of 18 must have permission and a signed release waiver from his or her parents or legal guardian prior to his or her participation in any activity. Please ask us to send or fax a release form prior to arrival if a parent or guardian will not be participating with a minor.*****
NOTICE
You are responsible for damage or loss of equipment and for your actions both on and off the water.
We reserve the right to deny a trip to any person for safety reasons and to modify any trip due to unsafe river conditions.
